Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. - Convenient access to public transportation.

Limited kitchen space during peak hours, making it difficult to cook. Cleaning done only once in the morning, leaving the kitchen messy for early cookers.

It was a nice stay at the hotel. Staff were very nice, co-operative, answered our questions on activities and in general on Interlaken. I should stay it is a value for money and I will be referring to my friends.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful . Only 5-8 minutes away from the city center but a little bit far away from the train station it takes more than 10 minutes to get to the hotel .

We need to fit in the bed sheet and pillow case by ourselves . No shampoo/ bath foam and utensil for brushing teeth available in toilet for use.No TV and phone is available in room as well.

This hostel is AWESOME! We got a double en-suit and everything was up to standard. The rooms were simple, but large and comfy. The beds were great and the showers were very good. Breakfast was basic - cereal, museli and toast, but that's ok. The kitchen was very well equiped and with the free bus pass that they gave us, we could easily get to the supermarket to buy great stuff to cook and make dinner. They also have random games, like a ping pong table an stuff like that, that will keep you occupied for a while. They also try to cater to little kids, which is a nice touch.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof - Hostel. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to lend us a plug converter. The room had a great view of the mountains and each bed had its own light and plug. The hostel was very organized, even accommodating late arrivals. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, perfect for preparing meals. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hostel.

Simple, clean hotel in a great location. You check in and are given your towels an sheets. The rooms are simple but great. Lots of friendly people.

We liked the cleanliness, as well as the facilities. Strategic spot to move around.

We did not like the fact of doing the beds by ourselves. It is something tiresome after coming for long distances.

I had a fantastic stay at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof - Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff, especially Daniel, was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and it was a nice bonus to receive free bus transportation tickets and restaurant discounts. I highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful stay in Interlaken.

Very nice facility - new and clean.

A bit of a walk from the train station, although they give you a bus pass with your stay so you only need to walk when you first get there (or pay to ride the bus).

Location was superb. Great views!! Distance from OST is quite comfortable. Staff was freindly. Room was clean. Common kitchen concept was pretty good, but not too comfortable for 100% vegetarians due to smell from other folks cooking non veg food. Hotel staff were helpful in giving tips about what to do. PCs with internet terminal and free WLAN was very useful. Breakfast was simple but enough.
